You can track your shipment online through the link we have sent to you via email. Additionally, the recipient can also track the shipment through the SMS/email that will be sent to them once we collect the parcels from the sender.

If your shipment is not being tracked after the collection date, we will send you an email to confirm that the shipment has been collected. The Σπουργίτης team will contact our courier partners to ensure that your shipment starts being tracked as soon as possible.

Common Reasons Why Your Bags Might Not Be Tracked:

  1. MissingTrackingLabels:
    • Was your shipment handed over without Σπουργίτης tracking labels? If so, please inform us IMMEDIATELY via email as there is a risk of your shipment being lost.

 

  1. AdditionalCharges:
    • Since shipping instructions for our courier partner are provided on the Σπουργίτης tracking labels, if your shipment is collected without these labels, additional charges may be applied to your order as your shipment might be sent via express service. A member of the Σπουργίτης team will contact you if this happens.

 

By ensuring your shipment has the correct tracking labels and monitoring your email for any updates, you can help ensure a smooth tracking process.

When large volumes of shipments are transported, all items are loaded into large containers, which can be easily loaded and unloaded from planes and other vehicles. The containers are tracked as they move through the network, which in turn updates the tracking of the items contained within them. If an item is not scanned when entering a container, it will not appear as departed, even though it has left the warehouse. However, when the items are unloaded at the next sorting facility, each item is scanned again and should reappear in the tracking system.

Temporary Tracking Gaps:

  • Tracking Interruption: Items may temporarily stop being tracked, and the issue should resolve within 48-72 hours.
  • Unscanned During Transit: If tracking is not updated, the shipment might be in transit without being scanned, or the label might be damaged.

 

Steps to Take:

  • Monitor Tracking: Keep an eye on the tracking updates.
  • Contact Us: If tracking does not confirm that all pieces have been delivered, we will contact you to confirm if all pieces have been received. If not, aninvestigation will be initiated.

Shipments sent over long distances often pass through facilities in various countries on their way to the final destination. If your tracking shows that your shipment is passing through a country different from the delivery country, it usually means that it is waiting for a connection and will show a departure scan from that country a few hours later.

Your shipment may also be scanned as “with the delivery courier” in an area that is not close to your delivery address. This is normal, as the location in your tracking is simply the larger service area covered by the driver or the main warehouse location, not the exact delivery location.
